Testimonials

Just an example of the feedback we've had.

We believe in what we do.

But don’t just take our word for it. Here are some of the things parents and professionals have to say about us.

Our partnership with Improtech has impacted positively on our students. We have been able to offer a broad and balanced curriculum to our students, whilst providing them with access to professional standard football coaching. The students involved aspire to be professional footballers who are well rounded and well educated too.”

Brendan Tapping – CEO -Bishop Chadwick Trust

“I was the first ever Improtech player at the age of 13. As an academy player at Sunderland AFC at the time it allowed me to improve my technique and enabled me work at an intensity that developed my game quickly.

“The drills and practices focussed on all aspects of my game and I am thankful to the coaches for playing a part in my development. I would recommend their coaching programmes to any aspiring Footballer.”

Ethan Robson – midfielder, Blackpool FC

“Improtech Soccer has had such a positive impact on Joe. He absolutely loves school now, because he is driven by football. Improtech motivates him to behave well, try hard, build resilience and achieve – not only at football but also his lessons. The coaches and staff show a real interest in him as young man as well which also motivates him to be the best version of himself “

Mrs Maher – Year 8 pupil -Joe Maher – St Joseph’s Catholic academy.

“I personally believe that the programme has helped (my son) focus, his behaviour has improved and helped him stay on track with his school work. The coaches have been amazing with him and he really has respect for them and looks up to them.”

Sharon Beaton - Parent -Walker Riverside Academy

“We are extremely happy with the progress our child is making. He continues to thrive under the fantastic coaching at EMS.

“The relationship between the coaches and students is excellent and it is evident watching the interaction between them that the boys have full respect for them and fully enjoy their sessions.”

Parent of a year 9 at English Martyrs School

“My son thoroughly enjoys the sessions with all of his friends and they are made more enjoyable by the fact that the coaches have such a good rapport with the boys.

“None of his school has suffered by taking part in the programme in fact maybe more so as he realises if he doesn’t put the work in at school then that could jeopardise his participation with Improtech.. he has a great relationship with his coaches who he trusts completely and it has helped him tremendously from the transition from primary to senior school.”

Parent of a year 8 at English Martyrs School

“Thank you for all of the time and hard work that has been put into making this work for the children.

“(My son) has thoroughly enjoyed his Improtech training, as he has his schoolwork, and as a Deputy Headteacher myself I know how much planning and work this takes, under very difficult conditions – great job!”

Parent of a year 7 at St Bede's

“For me as a parent this has been such a relief that (my son) has settled into the programme and high school so well. I think the programme and the school work well together to provide a great environment for the children.”

“I cant recommend these sessions enough, the standard these coaches coach these kids to, the way they interact with the boys and drills they do with them are second to none.”

Kyle Robson - parent

Carley Campbell - parent

“The lads at Improtech are not just coaches there, they’re the lad’s friends, social workers, teachers all in one. Best thing to happen for my son.”

Jim Costello- Parent of Y11 pupil at EMS

Improtech have ran weekly after-school sessions at our school for the past few years to help further develop our Gifted and Talented footballers in Years 5 and 6. The coaches have always delivered fast-paced, progressional sessions aimed at developing children’s skills and tactical understanding of the game. Our school has been extremely successful in terms of footballing results: we are unbeaten in the County Cup since 2018, have qualified for National competitions and have won the local football leagues consistently for a period of years. We have always found the coaching team led by Steve Golightly to be very professional. They have always been keen to engage and encourage the children to have a very healthy passion for football and a great attitude to succeed both on and off the pitch
