Stephen Elliott

stuart brand coach

Stuart is a talented and focused young coach who has already gained his UEFA B Coaching Licence and FA Youth Award 3 courses. Stuart is well on his way to becoming an elite coach and his enthusiasm has helped dozens of players develop and progress.

His philosophy of how to play soccer, develop young players and produce a professional session is a big asset.

He has also successfully put his approach into practice – coaching Sunderland Boys Under 14s to a national trophy in 2013. He is a full-time member of the staff at Improtech and plays a key role in running training sessions and player recruitment. He deserves great credit for the role he has played in the Academy ’s achievements.

simon robson operations manager

Simon is a partner of Martin in Improtech and as the company’s business development manager, is constantly striving for improvements to the service offered. A crucial element of that is the liaison service he provides between parents and Improtech staff. Simon has extensive knowledge of the local football community dating back many years.

His own playing career took him Belgium, where he saw how well that country developed technically gifted players and the importance of a well-organised structure in delivering this.

As an excellent administrator and organiser, Simon has a vital role to play in the development of Improtech and its continued growth as a respected and successful programme.
