I would like to introduce to you the team I have put together for Improtech Soccer to help me create this new revolutionary coaching development programme.

I have made a conscious effort to recruit the best people possible staff in all areas of Improtech to enable us to provide you with a unique and professional service. I know that I have achieved that with my team. Their expertise in the development of young players will certainly provide your son with the `Tools` he needs to enjoy developing as a young aspirational player.

It is long development programme and patience is the  key. We ask for effort and commitment and in return our ‘whole player’ programme will provide support, fun and success to enable you to become the BEST you can be.

We all contribute in this process - We are all part of the Improtech TEAM.

Simon Robson – Director of operations

Simon has a key role to play within the Improtech team. He is our business development manager and is constantly striving for improvements to the service we offer. A crucial element of that is to provide a liason service between parents and Improtech staff.

Simon has extensive knowledge of the local football community. His playing career involved a period in Belgium during which he observed how they developed technically gifted players and the contribution a cohesive organisational structure plays in this.

Steve Golightly – Coach

  • BA Sport Studies
  • Post graduate certificate of education – secondary
  • 21 years in teaching Physical education (11 – 16)
  • Coached at Sunderland AFC & Middlesbrough AFC Football Academies (age groups U13’s, 14’s.15’s – 1994 – 2008

Steve has the responsibility for the coaching syllabus and education. His passion has always been to develop exciting, technically gifted young players.

The experience that Steve has gained over 21 years of teaching and 15 years of coaching high quality young players has enabled him to know and understand how young people learn and develop skills. In terms of both acquisition and also how they develop physically, emotionally and intellectually.

Stuart Brand- Coach

Stuart is a enthusiastic and focused young coach who had his Level 2 coaching licence, and will quickly become better with the experience and work his is will to put into his own coaching development.

His professionalism and enthusiasm will certainly help the players develop and progress.
