Book Now! Residential Elite Soccer Course August 17-19th 2012

Our new partnership with Durham University and ` Team Durham` at Maiden Castle has given us the opportunity to improve the service we offer to our players and parents.

This summer will see us offer our first ever Elite coaching course for the players who we think will benefit from this intensive training camp. Improtech Soccer wants to give the opportunity for the parents to send their children away on a residential football course knowing they will be first and foremost safe, and secondly coached by a fully UEFA Pro licensed coach over the three days, with assistance from fully qualified UEFA  A licensed coaches.

We feel the players invited will certainly benefit massively from the knowledge and expertise from the staff and enjoy the team togetherness the weekend will create.

Invitations to players and parents will be sent shortly.

Course Information.

This elite coaching course is by invitation only and will be of a very high standard of coaching.

It will be very intensive and will help develop the players and will also give them an insight into how and what is needed to become a top professional footballer.

The main aspects of all sessions will be technically based, to help the players master the ball and polish their own individual techniques, but also within the programme all aspects of the four corner development  of (technical/ tactical, social, physical, psychological) will be developed as well.

A player needs to invest 10,000 hours of concentrated and reflective practice to achieve MASTERY. (This amounts to about 20 hours a day for 10 years.)

This practice needs to be `Purposeful Practice` and the players themselves need to be devoted to serious practice.

It is not talent that ultimately matters in the development of the players; it is the quality and quantity of the practice that drives the players to become better in all aspects of the development program.

We feel this course will certainly give the players the tools to improve.

Yes natural talent is part of the ingredient needed to make the ultimate player, but there are lots of other aspects as well that make up the elite player.

We must train smarter and be open to new ideas that will evolve the way we develop our players.

There are no short cuts in the production of technically gifted players. It takes time and persistence by the players, coaches and parents to perfect the art of technically aware quality players.

Our aims on the 3 day course is to maximize each individual’s technical ability, their `genetic potential`.

We at Improtech Soccer feel the area in which we are making a massive difference with the players is improving the confidence and self esteem of the individuals. And by giving the players a weekend of pure football, away from their usual surroundings will help them even further in this area of the development process.

We encourage all parents to support their children at all times, but also we feel the boys need time on their own in a football environment away from everything to really show us their true potential.
The course will also give the parents their freedom for the weekend knowing their son`s will be looked after professionally and coached to a very high standard.

Child Welfare.  We consider the welfare of each and every child on our courses as vitally important and we need your assistance to ensure the safety and security of your child throughout their stay with us.

Please ensure you provide us with all the relevant medical history of your child and emergency contact details prior to the course.

Arrival Registration. All players need to be accompanied by an adult on registration day.

Departure day. For the safety and security of the players Improtech Soccer will only release the participants to a named adult on departure.

Under no circumstances will players be allowed to leave the course without a named adult. Please arrive promptly at collection time.

Accommodation.

The accommodation will be in twin or single bedrooms of varying sizes, with toilets and showers.

Bed linen will be provided. Room share requests can only be taken when booking the course and with another player from the same age group.

Meals. Three meals are provided each day with a choice of menu always been available. Please let us know of any special dietary requirements.

Pocket Money. A small amount of money is all that is required for the players to buy drinks and snacks.

A member of staff will be dedicated to look after any money or valuables the players want taking care of.

What you need on the course. You will need to bring your Improtech Soccer training kit and also another kit when one is been washed.

Kit should include t-shirt, shorts, socks, tracksuit, trainers and football boots.

Shin pads must be worn at all times during an Improtech Soccer coaching sessions.

The coaching will take place on grass and 3G surface so relevant foot wear will be needed.

The players will also need casual clothing when not training and for the evenings.

All players will need to bring a towel and toiletries.

Only very limited laundry facilities are available so please bring enough clothing for the duration of your stay.

Please make sure all clothing is named.

Mobile phones.

All mobile phones MUST be given to us at registration. Since many of our players will be in twin rooms, phones are quite disruptive to the child’s room mate.

This is also to prevent them getting lost, broken or stolen.

Children will be able to use their phones between 4pm and 6pm only each day.

The phones will then be collected back in after use. An emergency phone number will be available for use by parents/guardians and will be given on registration.

Insurance.  We recommend that all players obtain travel insurance for personal items, and also to cover you if you are unable to attend due to illness or injury.

This should also cover you should your stay be cut short due to illness or injury, as refunds will not be issued in any of these circumstances.

Parent/Visitor Access. The safety and well being of all children on our courses is of paramount importance to us.

We therefore restrict Parent/Visitor access completely. So it allows the players to settle into the residential lifestyle and maintain their safety and security.
