Improtech Soccer are pleased to announce the opening of an Elite Football Academy at Houghton Kepier School in Sunderland in September 2012.

This is the only football academy in the UK that will incorporate top quality coaching during the school day for the players, supported by an education of the highest standard.

We intend to recruit up to 20 players between now and September who we think have the right talents and a inner drive to progress as elite football players.

Working closely with the individual player, his parents and school we feel we can give the players a fantastic opportunity to become a good footballer with a education to back this up.

From this week until the start of winter Improtech Soccer sessions on a Thursday and Friday night will start at 5pm and finish at 6.30pm. 

We really appreciate your help and patience over the winter months with the change of times for the sessions.

The players have really worked hard and I certainly see a massive improvement in all of the boys.

We must keep up the hard work and continue our technical development programme.

Improtech Soccer is delighted to announce the arrival of Ex Sunderland Goalkeeping legend Tony Norman to drive the Improtech Soccer Elite Goalkeeper Clinic.

Tony has vast amounts of playing experience with clubs like Sunderland AFC, Burnley FC, Hull City FC and Hudderfield Town FC where he made at total of 600 appearances throughout his career.

He has also played at Wembley Stadium in the FA Cup Final and coached at Sunderland AFC and Middlesbrough FC Academies so has an amazing amount of knowledge to pass onto the young aspiring goalkeepers who become part of this elite programme.

He also has a desire and drive and enthusiasm to help develop any young goalkeeper who want to become better.

We will be running our weekly GK sessions with Tony`s advice along with other Professional Goalkeeper Coaches at Maiden Castle on a Thursday evening.

We will be introducing our very first Elite Goalkeeper Day Clinics in April 2012. These days will be a  great insight into how the top professional goalkeepers train on a daily basis.
