Martin founded Improtech Soccer as an in-school programme focused on improving talented and dedicated players. He sought to recruit the best people possible in all areas of Improtech, to enable the company to provide a unique and professional service.
Improtech is a long-term development programme, which means there is all the time in the world to develop, and patience is the key. The company asks for effort and commitment and in return, the ‘whole player’ programme provides them with support and fun on the road to becoming the BEST footballer they can be.
Lead Improtech Soccer Coach
Stuart is a talented and focused coach who has been with Improtech Soccer from its early days.
He holds the UEFA ‘A’ Coaching Licence and the UEFA Elite Youth ‘A’ Licence and coached Sunderland Schools’ FA Under 14s side to a national trophy in 2013.
His enthusiasm has helped dozens of players develop and progress and his philosophy of how to play soccer, develop young players and produce a professional session is a big asset.
He deserves great credit for the role he has played in the Academy ’s achievements.
Managing director and operations manager
Simon ensures the smooth day-to-day running of the company and also guides its strategic growth.
Before his business career, Simon enjoyed a career in football which gave him wide-ranging contacts in the football community.
His own playing career took him to Belgium, where he saw how well that country developed technically gifted players and the importance of a well-organised structure in delivering this.
He is constantly striving for improvements to the service Improtech Soccer offers. A crucial element of that is the liaison service he provides between parents and Improtech staff.
As an excellent administrator and organiser, Simon has a vital role to play in the development of Improtech and its continued growth as a respected and successful programme.
